From the legal point of view, apartment redevelopment is a redevelopment of real estate, that is, repair and construction work in the premises, which results in proposed changes to the documents: a plan of BTI and the certificate of ownership.  

In accordance with current legislation, there is a list of conditions limiting the renovation of apartments. For example, the apartments are not to be remade, if it results in braking structural strength of buildings, deteriorating living conditions of occupants of the apartment or house, if the area of the utility rooms is increased at the expense of living premises. In addition, the reconfiguration is possible only after the consent of all adult residents registered at that address.
